8 Tips To Help Local Businesses With Their Facebook Ads.
Facebook For Business has come up with 8 best practices to help local businesses with their Facebook Ads. I thought I would share them with you.
1. Call To Action: When creating your ad, make sure you put a call to action at the beginning of your post within the first 90 characters. You do not want your call to action hidden under a whole bunch of text.
2. Use High Quality Photos: You want to use photos to grab attention of your customers as well as coincide with the words on your posts. I have learned to use images with each posts as they are seen in the newsfeed better than just a regular post.
3. Combact Ad Fatique: Do not keep running the same ad over and over again. Refresh your ads weekly for better results. If your audience keeps seeing the same ad, it could be costly to you.
4. Important Content First: If you want people to link to your website, make sure you put the link at the top of your post. Consider this as a call to action and place it where people will see it.
5. Identify Your Target Audience: Think who is your best client and target a similiar audience. If you are running a local business, target people who are in your area.
6. Promote An Event: Organize an event in your store to bring in new customers. Offer promotions, grand openings, contests and free giveaways.
7. Boost Important Posts: You can boost posts that may be important to your local clientele. You want to expand your reach and bring in new customers. Maybe your store ran out of a particular product so now you can boost a post to make sure people see that you have restocked that product.
8. Use Facebook Offers: You can promote certain products to your Facebook Fans and non-fans in your local area.

Hello Anita,
At times it is scarey to make adds or I get lost so quit. As you said you don’t want it to be costly. I guess I have to be brave at some point and do some advertising. Like taking that leap of faith. Just have to make sure I know what it costs and budget.
Thankyou for your post. It was informative.
