Harness The Power Of Facebook For Your Business With These Marketing Tips
Do you want to cream the upper hand over your competitors? Do your competitors market via Facebook pages and you don't? Would you like to have a Facebook campaign that beats them on Facebook? You will need to fully understand the principles of Facebook marketing laid out in the following article.
You want to Brand "YOU INC" so make sure you have a professional looking picture. I am not saying go out and pay tons of money for pictures, but I like Andrew's Cass statement, "Dress for Success."
A simple way to start a conversation with your subscribers is to respond to the feedback they leave on your page. You should monitor your wall and watch for @ messages pertaining to you. It is especially important to respond quickly to anyone who needs customer service support, has a complaint or just engaging with your post.
Be sure your posts gives your fans value.
Don't assume Facebook is the best place for social media purposes. While it is an incredibly popular concept, each demographic has its preferred social site. Research your target audience to find out where they are hanging out.
A great way to convert visitors to followers is by hiding content from non-fans. If your Facebook page has a hidden area that can only be seen by followers, you are more likely to entice someone to subscribe to your page. These hidden areas would be your tabs. They would have to click on a tab which would be an optin page, a free video or webinar with an offer.
Avoid sending updates that are irrelevant to your brand and customers. Only talk about things that will interest your subscribers. Personal news and updates should be shared using your personal Facebook page but sometimes can be shared on your Business Page as well. People want to know that you are human and likes to hear about the person they are following or buying from.
Be sure that people are able to "share" content via your Facebook presence. Facebook depends on people who interact and share with their friends. When you put out important information, they will return the favor via informing their own networks of your content and possibly getting you more prospective customers.
It's imperative that you keep your audience through Facebook. You don't need to post all day long as people will unlike your page, but you should post at least 2 to 5 times a day. Your posts should have lots of content and contain information customers are interested in.
As you can see, with a little know-how, you can soon out-market the competition on Facebook. They can learn from you. Use what you have learned here and reach out to your global audience.

You have provided some excellent information in this post Anita. We all hate spammers who sit all day pitching their opportunity. Thanks for sharing.
I have been getting a lot on Facebook lately, especially the dating ones. Not sure what is going on there. I love Linkedin but am tired of people pushing their opportunity on me. Anita
Facebook is a great place to build an online brand. Better to keep business and personal separate though unless you only use Facebook for marketing anyway.
Even though it is a Business Page, you still have to share a bit about you as it is still a social platform. I would do it sparingly.
