Are you getting the results in your business that you thought you would had by now? Are you just sitting back hoping people will come to you or are you taking charge of your business and getting people to take notice?
Here are 6 tips to become a successful marketer:
1. Be Agressive: You can't just sit back and hope people will find you. You need to have confidence and get people to notice you and your "Brand." You need to be agressive. You need to do something no one else is doing.
2. Always Hustle: You can't be lazy. If you need to write blog posts, Facebook posts, create ads or do a webinar, you
NEED to do it, don't push it aside and go to a movie. You need to stay consistent and if people are expecting your content, you need to deliver it. Actually,
OVER DELIVER! You need to be where people are hanging out so get out there and hustle and do some research.
3. Take Care Of What's In Your Control: There are things that are just out of your control and there is nothing you can do about it. Whether you are not receiving any engagement from a Facebook Post or not getting on the front page of Google. It happens. Your results are not always immediate, I know that but you still have to stay consistent and stick to your marketing plan and the results will come.
4. Stay focused: Where are you seeing the best results? For me it is Facebook and now with my blog. I have put so much time into these two strategies that it is starting to pay off. Before, I would blog for a while, then not come back to it again. Today I am trying to publish a blog post everyday. It is starting to pay off. So where you are generating results, is where you should put your focus.
5. Have a Plan: Every marketer should have a plan. Have goals and know what you need to get there. Things change all of the time and you need to be ready. Pick scenarios that may happen in your business and make a plan for it. Will you always stay ahead of the unpreditability world of online, probably not.
6. Stay Positive: Sometimes it is hard to stay positive when things are not working the way you would like. Have I ever felt like quitting, yes. I do not like to admit it but I think it happens to everyone. You must stay positive and do little things starting out that adds value. When people are struggling, give them a helping hand. Keep plugging away and the results will come.

These are great tips Anita, thanks. As a natural introvert, I must admit, I am completely intimidated by the idea of marketing. I feel like I’m pretty good when it comes to social media marketing because it’s not face to face, but when it comes down to actual networking and self-promotion- ahhhhh…. I like the “Always Hustle” section. It’s so true. Our work as independent online business owners must be taken seriously. It’s so easy to go to a movie because you don’t have a boss standing over you, but staying focused and hustling is key! Thanks for the tips.
