Facebook's embedded post is a new feature this year. You can take a Facebook post and embed it on your website.
To find the feature, you have to click in the upper right hand corner of your post and there will be a drop down box where you will find the embed post at the bottom. Look at the picture below.
When you click on the embed post Facebook will give you a code. Copy and paste the code to your website. Here is a preview of what it looks like.
You can like and post right in the embed post. If you want to view comments or reply, it will open it up in a different window. You can also share it.
There are, however, some rules and regulations regarding the embedded post.
1. Only public posts can be embedded. Not only can you embed posts from any of your pages but also from your personal profile.
2. You can not embed a post if your settings are set for privacy. Only public posts can be embedded.
3. The size is not customizable.
By doing an embedded post on your website, it will give your Facebook Page more exposure than you may have had before, that is if you get good traffic to your site.
I hope this was helpful to you. If so, please share and comment below.

Hi Anita,
I’ve never used embedded posts but I know that it’s powerful and I will be using this feature soon. Thanks for sharing!
Your welcome. I don’t think I would use it a lot but I think maybe using it casually would work. Anita
I’ve done embedded tweets, but not embedded posts. I actually keep forgetting they exist.

I use Twitter but do not know the ins and outs of it. I did not know you could do that. Thanks for sharing that little tidbit with me. Will have to check it out. Anita
Thanks for this tip Anita! What a simple (and free…yay!) way to get more traffic to one’s fan page!
I love free and if I can get people to my Facebook Page I am using any strategy that I can find. Anita
